Imagination and Social Sculpture

Lezing door Nicole Caodie
Exploring the three fundamentals to creativity, this lecture unpacks imagination, inspiration, and intuitive function as guiding principles in understanding conscious creativity and how art can carve out new paradigms. Approaching the subject from a contemporary anthroposophical perspective, this lecture considers how imaginative practice can deepen our sense of connection to self, others, and environment.
Through visual references ranging from Rosicrucian lithographs to the work of Rudolf Steiner, Joseph Beuys, Social Sculpture and her own work, Nicole traces a cultural lineage of imagination as an active mode of inquiry, one which we need to understand from a collective point of view.
